Margate Place is a Guest House with both Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering accommodation options, catering for tourists, business travelers and families alike. Located in the Summerstrand suburb, on the Beachfront area of Port Elizabeth, we offer great personal and friendly service with quality AA Superior rated accommodation.
Each guest unit is individually decorated and has its own private barbeque courtyard area with braai facilities, an en-suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, telephone, free wireless internet and DSTV, (± 20 individual channels). Inter-leading units are also available, perfect for larger families. All guest units are very private and are serviced daily.
The Guest House is situated in a quiet street, very close to popular swimming beaches (Hobie- and Pollock beach), restaurants and all major Beachfront attractions. The Boardwalk Casino and entertainment complex is also within easy walking distance. We are on the main bus route and only 10 minutes away from the airport, the university and Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. For golf enthusiasts the only true links golf course is on our doorstep.
We are ideally located for:
