Glenfinnan Guest House offers 4-Star quality accommodation to discerning travellers, in Langebaan along the West Coast of South Africa. The guest house offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, bay and the lagoon.
Accommodation is offered in en-suite guest rooms, each with their own private entrance. The upstairs rooms have sea and lagoon views, and the downstairs rooms have garden views but are larger and more spacious. Each room has a queen-size bed or twin three-quarter beds that can be converted to a super king on request, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, dressing gowns for long stays, and complimentary toiletries. Each room is fitted with a TV with DStv channels, a bar fridge, tea and coffee station, a hairdryer, lock-up safe, and free Wi-Fi internet access.
The guest house has a balcony with outdoor dining furniture, braai facilities, and stunning views. Secure and safe parking, within electronic gates is provided on the premises.
Glenfinnan is conveniently centrally situated being only a walk away, 800 m, from the lagoon beach and town centre where many shops, restaurants and an art gallery can be found. Langebaan is a nature and water lover’s dream. The lagoon is a paradise for the many activities on offer: birding, swimming, kite and wind surfing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at the Langebaan Country Club less than 5 km away. Nature walks, bird hides and the West Coast Nature Reserve on our doorstep, famous for the Postberg and its wild flowers. The gate to the West Coast is a 5 minute drive from Glenfinnan Guest House.
Langebaan is the perfect location from which to explore the West Coast, from the Cederberg and Lambert’s Bay in the north, Paternoster, to Riebeek West and the wineries to the east. Not to mention Darling, its brewery or catch a show with Pieter Dirk Uys
Langebaan offers romantic beach walks on pristine white sand. Watch the magnificent sunsets while viewing the kite surfers in action either from our balcony, or with a cocktail at one of our many beach restaurants. Alternatively, sit on the beach to take in the beauty, tranquillity and serenity of the peaceful surroundings. A spoil to satisfy all the senses.

No smoking is allowed in the guest rooms and balconies. We do have a bench in the garden where you may have a smoke.Glenfinnan has a resident cat, but unfortunately we do not allow our guests to bring their furry friends along, but ask anyway as we do make exceptions.Out of respect for fellow guests, we kindly request that quiet time starts at 10pm during the week and 11pm over weekends, till 7am.We wish that all our guests have a wonderful time at Glenfinnan and will let us know immediately if anything falls short of their expectations of any room, service, or other facility on the premises.
