Torburnlea Homestead offers 5 Star luxury accommodation in a 100-year old farmhouse on the outskirts of Nelspruit. The sensitively restored homestead with hardwood floors, high ceilings and nostalgic sash windows is located within the secure Mataffin Macadamia Village, with easy access from the N4 highway.
All the modern rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower, some have baths as well. Room amenities include hair dryers, bath robes, slippers, free toiletries and a coffee/tea station has plunger coffee. Air conditioners and ceiling fans in all rooms. Flat-screen TV’s only in Room 1 and Room 6.
There is a living area to relax in and a library with a flat screen TV and full DSTV bouquet. The dining room is where plated meals are served. Enjoy the verandah with a self-serve bar and views of the garden. Free WiFi and private parking are provided.
Mbombela Stadium is 1.5 km away. Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is 18 km (25 minutes) from the property. Kruger National Park entry gates are just over an hours drive away. Kruger Lowveld attractions also include the scenic Panorama Route along the Blyde River Canyon, Lowveld Botanic Gardens and much more.

Children Policy: We welcome children from 12 years of age at the full adult rate. Special arrangements for children under 12 years of age must be made with the proprietors. Children in extra beds in rooms 5 & 6 upstairs are charged at the indicated rates per person. Check in and out times: Check in between 14h00 and 18h00. Check out before 11h00.

All I admire in a well run, beautifully appointed property . This refurbished homestead has been updated to a very high standard. What I adore about Torburnlea is the interior decor. The attention to detail and the comfort for guests is unsurpassable. Its history along with that of the Hall family is fascinating. Stanford what a gentleman you are and an extremely good chef, thank you for the attention you paid to us. We will certainly be back.
