Mosaic Lagoon Lodge offers all inclusive accommodation in 6 luxury suites that are inclusive of all meals, Mosaic activities, and house beverages, including beer and wine.

Secluded within an ancient Milkwood grove, each suite has glass walls and doors that open onto gorgeous mountain views, and a private deck overlooking the lagoon. Each room has beautiful soft netting surrounding a king-size bed, a writing desk, fireplace and a ceiling fan. The bathrooms are fitted with a large romantic tub, copper sinks and a private outdoor shower for an African bush experience. Twin beds can be accommodated.

A heated plunge pool is available for all guests to take a refreshing dip in, which boasts beautiful views overlooking the mountains and lagoon. Mosaic is a fabulous venue for small weddings, private parties, and executive conferences.

Mosaic offers wonderful outdoor activities such as a Fynbos Safari; boat cruises on the Klein River, stand-up paddle boards, rentals for mountain bikes, a beach excursion and kayaks.

Walker Bay, known for its “champagne air” is a destination to be savoured. Mosaic, in the center, is a meeting point of mountain and sea, uniquely laced with spectacular marine life, pristine beaches, fynbos vegetation, fabulous bird life, and archeological caves.

It is known as the best place in the world for land based whale watching. The giant Southern Right Whales migrate from Antarctica to our shores from June – December to mate and calf. Being adjacent to the Walker Bay Beach, Mosaic’s guests enjoy whale watching from secluded white sandy beaches and sand dunes. Or the whales can be viewed from the cliffs of Hermanus.

Just down the road is Gansbaai, the place for close encounters with great whites while cage shark diving. Hermanus also offers paragliding, golf and several craft markets.

We are part of the Overberg Wine Region, the southern most wine area on the continent. It is “off the beaten path” and with Hamilton Russell, Bouchard Finlayson and others, is producing some of the county’s finest wines. Springfontein Winery is right next door.
