Visitors can walk or cycle freely through the village, and being surrounded by seven lakes, the bird life, fish, fauna and flora are in abundance. Water sports and leisure activities are available; paragliding and hang gliding are major attractions in the village with the launch site situated opposite the guest house. Sedgefield also boasts five pristine beaches, restaurants and coffee shops, all within walking distance of the B&B. There are special discounted rates for long stays or for groups of people.
